Job Description An opportunity has become available for a Senior Accountant to join the business services team. In this role, you will manage your own portfolio of SME clients while working closely with managers and partners across a range of tax and advisory matters. Key responsibilities include: Managing a portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries Preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals Handling BAS, GST and other compliance obligations Providing tax and business advisory support to clients Acting as the main point of contact for client queries Assisting with mentoring and reviewing work of junior accountants Successful Applicant To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: 4 years’ experience within Australian public practice accounting Strong experience in business services and tax compliance CA or CPA qualified (or near completion) Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships Experience managing your own client portfolio or stepping into that level What’s on Offer Study leave and financial support for CA or CPA In-house masterclasses to support your professional studies Salary packaging options Active social club with regular team events Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Health and Wellness Committee promoting wellbeing initiatives (including table tennis!)
