Job Description
Having a diverse workforce that represents the wider Tasmanian community is very important to us, and we actively encourage applications from people with disabilities, from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people who may identify as LGBTQI+, and all genders. We recognise the value, unique skills, and knowledge that Aboriginal employees bring to the workplace and welcome and encourage applications from Aboriginal people.
We are committed to prioritising the rights and wellbeing of children and young people. Our focus is on employing the right people and fostering a culture of self-reflection and continuous improvement. We aim to regularly review our policies through a child and youth safety lens, ensuring our staff are equipped to recognise and respond to signs of harm. We strive to create a culture where everyone takes responsibility, shares information, and speaks up if something seems amiss, ensuring a safe environment for all children and young people.
We support reasonable adjustment requests at any stage of the assessment process to remove barriers and facilitate full participation. If you have individual requirements for interviews or recruitment activities, please inform the contact person listed for this vacancy.
We understand that managing work and life is different for everyone, and we embrace flexible working arrangements. Please discuss with us how flexibility can work for you.
