The business continues to expand across Australia and into New Zealand and the USA. As it grows its operations and strengthen its market presence, it is seeking a talented Paralegal to join its legal team and contribute to its ongoing success.
The Role:
As a Paralegal, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the legal department in various capacities. Working closely with the Legal Counsel, you will assist in legal research, document preparation, contract management, compliance activities and general administrative tasks.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable experience and challenge themselves, assisting in a diverse array of areas, so that no two days are the same.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate governance materials.
* Maintain and organise legal files, databases, and documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements.
* Support the legal team in managing corporate transactions, regulatory filings and due diligence processes.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to address legal inquiries and provide timely support and guidance.
* Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of issues relevant to the company's operations.
* Provide administrative assistance such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence and coordinating document execution.
Key Selection Criteria:
* Previous experience working as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* A proactive and collaborative mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Familiarity with legal documents and terminology.
* Ability to multi-task and deal with a diverse array of people.
