We are looking for an in-house Brand Creative who would lead the development of digital and physical assets, to deliver consistent messaging across the business.
The Brand Creative will operate across three business units: Beach World Championships, Growth and Development, and Events.
The successful applicant will be required to adhere to Volleyball Australia's policies and procedures including the National Integrity Framework and associated integrity policies and the Code of Conduct.
Job Responsibilities
In line with Volleyball Australia's strategic plan, the Brand Creative will support the development and management of VA's brand collateral, for three key areas:
* The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships, Adelaide 2025 (November 2025)
* Play Volley and Education (Ongoing)
* Events (Tour and Championship
The Brand Creative will be responsible for the following:
Brand Development & Asset Management
* Be the custodian of the brands, educating key stakeholders on the importance of the brand's guidelines and design elements.
* Keeping brand guidelines and asset library's up to date, ensuring accurate and ease of use for all stakeholders.
Creative Design & Execution:
* Develop and produce creative elements for VA's platforms and partners, including signage, digital content and advertising.
* Digital content development and management, for web (Word Press) and Social (Meta).
* The development and delivery of dressing and signage for events
Campaign & Agency Support
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to conceptualize and execute campaigns.
* Support the management of creative agency partners and network of creative freelancers.
Any other duties as reasonably required by the Head of Marcomms & Community Engagement (BVWC), Sport Delivery and Growth General Manager, Director of Sport Delivery and CEO.
Some travel within Australia may be required.
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant Tertiary qualifications and /or demonstrated experience in graphic design, or related fields.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Premiere Pro) and MS Office Suite, with an aptitude for learning other specific industry or commercial software.
* Experience in Website Content Development and Management, with specific Wordpress experience highly desirable.
* Experience working in national sports programs and/or major sports events is highly desirable
* Ability to thrive in multi-stakeholder environments
* Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team and to move the team towards completion of goals; and
* Ability to convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals and groups in a way that engages and helps them to understand and retain the message
* Establishes good interpersonal relationships; makes people feel valued, appreciated and included
* Applicants must have experience in working with children, hold a current working with children/vulnerable people card, or the ability to obtain one.
* Applicants must be able to demonstrate an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with Children
