Foreman - Civil – Hobart
RCCC Civil Contracting is a well-established, privately owned Tasmanian company delivering a wide range of civil construction projects across the greater Hobart region. We are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join our team in a hands-on role delivering subdivisions, roadworks and building site civil projects.
About the Role
Working closely with the Management Team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising and coordinating site operations across civil projects
* Managing labour, subcontractors, plant and materials
* Overseeing pipework, pavement construction and GPS set-out
* Ensuring compliance with WHS and environmental requirements (SWMS, risk assessments, toolbox meetings)
* Monitoring construction quality and maintaining site records
* Leading and supporting site personnel
About You
* Proven experience in civil construction (subdivisions, roadworks or similar)
* Strong practical knowledge of pipework, pavements and GPS set-out
* Solid understanding of WHS and environmental requirements
* Ability to lead crews and work autonomously
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Construction White Card and current driver's licence (essential)
