Enrolled Nurse - Pathway to Acute Practice (PAP) Program
Albury Wodonga Health is excited to announce our Pathway to Acute Practice (PAP) Program, designed to strengthen and expand our nursing and midwifery workforce. This program is suitable for Enrolled Nurses looking to work in or transition back to acute practice after time away from the hospital setting.
Overview
In this structured program, the successful candidates will experience professional growth through a comprehensive orientation, paid supernumerary time, peer support, clinical rotations and expert guidance.
Responsibilities
* Participate in a comprehensive orientation and clinical rotations
* Receive paid supernumerary time and access to peer support
* Engage with expert guidance to develop clinical competencies in acute practice
Qualifications
* Current AHPRA registration
* For ENs: Endorsement for medication administration, including the IV Therapy module
* Demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to person-centered care
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
* Flexibility to work on a rotating roster (including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends)
