Pastry Chef (Pastry Production / Savoury) | Full time
We're hiring a full-time Pastry Chef for our pastry production team. This salaried role is 40 hours per week, across five days with two consecutive days off. Shifts begin around 10-11am, Tuesday - Saturday.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualification as a Pastry chef or extensive experience working in a similar position. (Min. 1-2 years full-time experience as a qualified pastry chef).
* You will be required to assist in the production of our range of pastries for pies, sausage rolls and sweet & savoury tart shells - Puff pastry, Brisée pastry, Sour cream pastry, Brioche pastry and Shortcrust pastry.
* Assist with the filling and making of pie's & sausage rolls.
* Able to work independently as well as part of a team, self motivated and hardworking.
* Train and mentor apprentices and new staff.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
