THE JOB
Council is seeking someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is keen to positively contribute to the presentation and usability of town amenities to join our Tumbarumba Town Services Team. This position involves the maintenance of public areas such as parks, gardens, and sporting fields, operating machinery like mowers and trucks, and performing general maintenance tasks to ensure town infrastructure and environments are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing for locals and visitors to enjoy. THE LOCATION
Snowy Valleys Council is a scenic and heritage-rich local government area in the South-West Slopes region of New South Wales, spanning 8,959 km2 with approximately 15,000 residents living in vibrant and unique towns, villages, and rural properties. THE BENEFITS
* This is a permanent full-time position working 76 hours per fortnight on a 9-day/fortnight arrangement.
* The salary range is $2,265.40 to $2,549.80 per fortnight (gross), plus 12% superannuation. The offered salary will be based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
