About the Role
As a Rear Loader Driver, you will be part of an operational team responsible for the reliable delivery of waste and recycling services across the Sutherland Shire. You'll work on a rotating 7‐day roster (Monday to Sunday) starting from 4:00 am as part of a 9‐day fortnight.
Responsibilities
* Operate rear loader waste vehicles safely and compliantly.
* Complete pre‐start vehicle checks.
* Assist with collection activities and basic vehicle care and maintenance.
* Perform manual handling and outdoor work as required.
Qualifications and Skills
* Current HR Class driver licence (essential).
* Experience in waste services or a similar driving/operations role.
* Physical fitness to manage manual handling and outdoor work.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Basic data entry and mobile device skills.
* Knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Law.
* Familiarity with Sutherland Shire streets and suburbs (advantageous).
Salary and Benefits
Package: $77,926 gross per annum plus 12% superannuation.
Permanent full‐time 38 hours per week 9‐day fortnight.
