We're looking for a friendly volunteer to help with the day-to-day operations at Mingaletta in Umina Beach
Your support helps keep our space safe, welcoming, and ready for the incredible cultural programs we run every week.
Whether you've got a green thumb, a knack for fixing things, or just love to pitch in we'd love to have you on board
Key Responsibilities
Light cleaning of indoor spaces (sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces)
Basic yard work (sweeping paths, watering gardens, weeding)
General property maintenance (minor repairs, keeping outdoor areas tidy)
Supporting the set-up or pack-down of community events or gatherings
Noticing and reporting any property issues to staff
Assisting with other practical tasks to help the centre run smoothly
What You'll Bring
A positive, can-do attitude
Willingness to get your hands dirty and take initiative
Basic handyman or gardening skills (helpful, but not essential)
Respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and community
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
