About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Professional to support and deliver environmental site assessments and remediation services primarily in the Contaminated Land and Groundwater sector.
* Conduct thorough desktop reviews, data gathering, and technical research to identify potential environmental hazards.
* Analyse and present complex data from environmental investigations and remediation operations to inform business decisions.
* Compile and edit reports, including monitoring plans, environmental site assessments, and health and safety documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
* Implement field-based environmental inspection and monitoring programs, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
* Conduct soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling to collect relevant data for analysis.
* Supervise subcontractors onsite, including drillers and excavation teams, to ensure safe working practices and project deadlines are met.
* Manage small project scopes, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting, to deliver results efficiently.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, Soil Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
* At least 3 years of experience in environmental assessment and remediation, including soil and groundwater sampling.
* Familiarity with environmental regulations (Australian laws preferred).
* Proficiency in Excel, with Power BI experience an advantage.
* A valid state driving license and current Australian working rights.
