Our esteemed client is actively searching for skilled and experienced Granite Stonemasons to join their dedicated team. Ideal candidates will possess a deep understanding of working with granite, showcasing expert craftsmanship, precision, and a passion for creating durable and aesthetically pleasing stone structures and features. Your primary responsibility will be to fabricate, install, and finish granite projects to the highest standards of quality and artistry.
To be eligible for this position, candidates must:
1. Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Granite Stonemason.
2. Provide supporting documents, such as payslips, employment evidence, a valid passport, and police clearances.
Key Responsibilities:
3. Accurately cut, shape, and polish granite and other stone materials using hand and power tools.
4. Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine the specifications and requirements of each project.
5. Install granite structures, such as countertops, building facades, and monuments, ensuring precise alignment and stability.
6. Apply sealants and finishes to protect and enhance the natural beauty of granite surfaces.
7. Collaborate with clients and designers to understand project visions and ensure outcomes meet or exceed expectations.
8. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to industry safety standards and best practices.
9. Keep detailed records of materials used, work progression, and project completions.
Qualifications:
10. A minimum of 5 years' experience working with granite and other stone materials, with a portfolio of completed projects.
11. Strong knowledge of stonemasonry tools and techniques, particularly those related to granite fabrication and installation.
12. Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
13. Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.
14. Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, for effective communication with clients and team members.
