Position Summary
Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking experienced Staff Specialists in Dermatology to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital!
The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality clinical management and consultative specialty services in Dermatology outpatient department and within the Dermatology on call roster, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Dermatology Department and Hospital as required.
The Staff Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development. They will provide medical student teaching (clinical and tutorial), as well as supervision and teaching of Dermatology registrars and junior medical staff.
Qualifications
The successful applicant will be registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Applicants must have Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD) and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
Position will be available in April 2026. In addition, applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from date of application may be considered.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award.
