Based in Brisbane, this opportunity sits within our growing Transport Planning and Aviation team, where we support some of the region's most significant airport, aviation and multimodal transport projects. With increasing investment across aviation infrastructure and integrated transport networks, we're looking for an experienced leader to help guide the next phase of growth.
This role will also be a key member of the ANZ Transport Leadership Team, helping shape strategy, capability and market growth across Australia and New Zealand.

Due to continued growth in our Transport Planning and Aviation portfolio, we are seeking an experienced professional to join our Brisbane team in a senior leadership capacity.
This role will play a key part in growing our aviation and transport planning capability, building strong relationships with airport operators, government agencies and private sector clients, while leading a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
As a member of the ANZ Leadership Team, you will also help shape broader strategic direction across the region and contribute to the growth of AECOM's transport planning and aviation capability.
How you'll make a difference
* Lead growth across aviation and transport planning
* Build trusted client relationships across airport operators, government agencies and infrastructure clients while helping position AECOM on major aviation and transport planning opportunities.
* Deliver complex aviation and transport planning projects
* Provide leadership across strategic transport planning, airport planning and integrated mobility projects, supporting the delivery of high-quality outcomes for clients.
* Drive technical excellence and innovation
* Champion best practice in transport planning, aviation planning and digital tools to deliver forward-thinking, data-driven solutions.
* Support multidisciplinary collaboration
* Work closely with engineers, planners, designers and technical specialists across ANZ to deliver integrated transport solutions.
* Develop and mentor a high-performing team
* Support capability growth within the team while fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture.
The qualities that help you thrive

* Tertiary qualifications in Transport Planning, Engineering, Urban Planning or a related discipline.
* Significant experience in transport planning, aviation planning, airport infrastructure or integrated mobility projects.
* Strong experience working with airport operators, government agencies or major infrastructure clients.
* Demonstrated ability to lead projects, teams or technical workstreams within a consulting or professional services environment.
* Strong client engagement and business development capability.
* A collaborative mindset and interest in innovation, digital planning tools and sustainable mobility.
