Responsibilities
* Provided trusted advice to leaders on employee relations, performance management, and the interpretation of employment legislation, Awards and company policies.
* Support culture and engagement initiatives, including engagement surveys, cultural initiatives, and diversity and inclusion workshops.
* Deliver operational excellence by maintaining accurate people data and provide meaningful insights to support business decision‐making.
* Enable talent development through onboarding, talent programs, and employee and leader development programs.
* Contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement, supporting key People initiatives that enhance our systems, processes and the overall employee experience.
Qualifications
* Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
* Experience: At least 3 years' experience in a HR Advisor or Generalist role, preferably in the Engineering Services industry.
* Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of Australian employment legislation (including Fair Work Act and NES) and experience managing investigations and performance issues.
* Strong interpersonal skills:
o Resilient, collaborative and able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
o High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
* Systems capability: Proficiency in HR systems and reporting tools.
