About This Opportunity
We are seeking a senior civil engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our Water Utilities team in QLD. The successful candidate will have expertise in the design of Australian water and wastewater infrastructure projects and will be responsible for civil design development and delivery through the full spectrum of the project life cycle.
* Civil design development and delivery through the full spectrum of the project life cycle to ensure work output is of a technically high standard.
* Production and review of concise high-quality technical documentation.
* Design and/or design management of a range of projects or program work packages.
* Actively assisting colleagues in achieving improved client feedback results, enhance satisfaction, and exceed client expectations.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering or equivalent and will possess good knowledge of relevant industry-related Australian Standards and WSAA codes. Chartered Engineer or actively working towards chartered status would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver civil designs that meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Create and review technical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Manage the design process for multiple projects or programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve improved client feedback and satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of industry standards and codes, and apply them effectively in the role.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in civil design development and delivery.
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards and WSAA codes.
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards it is highly desirable.
