What You'll Do
As a Seafood Process Worker, your primary task will be fish filleting. However, you will also gain valuable experience in various aspects of seafood processing, including:
* Filleting
* Weighing
* Cleaning fish and shellfish
* Precise grading, marking, and inspection
* Draining, tailing, pickling, crumbing, and cooking seafood
* Chilling fish and shellfish
* Sealing, stopping, and stamping cartons
* Trimming and heading
* Bulk packaging and operating single-function fish processing equipment
* Operating a can closure machine
* Packing in standard containers
* Recording and documentation as required
* Cold storage chiller and freezer operations
