Job Description:
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team. This role will play a key part in delivering capital infrastructure projects associated with our Network Investment Program.
The successful candidate will provide project management and engineering technical support to deliver projects in New South Wales. They will assist in projects along the Sydney to Albury section of the network, which comprise extensive track rehabilitation works and signalling upgrades to create bi-directional capability.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Provide project engineering support in the different phases of project cycle commencing from project feasibility, design development, contractor procurement, construction, commissioning and handover of the project.
* Provide reports to the Senior Project Manager on monthly costs, time and safety performance requirements for components of the project.
* Ensure project requirements are met in managing project interfaces with operations, corridor managers, external stakeholders including utility authorities, local councils, community and state agencies where required.
* Ensure compliance with our Safety Policy and Environmental Policy requirements.
About You:
Building on your leadership and proactive approach to safety, you should possess strong communication skills and problem-resolution capabilities working within project delivery environment. Additionally, your extensive experience in managing and delivering capital works projects, particularly in greenfield or brownfield rail construction, will be highly regarded.
