The role

Hertz is a global rental car business that strives to meet customer needs through a wide variety of vehicles and services.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide exceptional customer service and sales services to internal and external customers to ensure the continued growth and profitability of Hertz. You will be based at our Hobart store and may be required to work at other TAS stores within reasonable travel distance.

In this role you will:

  • Ensure a positive customer experience by greeting and engaging customers.
  • Complete rental and return transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Sell Hertz rental options to our valued customers.
  • Ensure overall customer satisfaction by resolving issues.
  • Be involved in reservations of rental vehicles and associated requirements.
  • Work as part of a high performing team.

About You

  • Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and ability to engage in verbal interaction with customers.
  • Previous experience in customer service or sales; experience in the rental industry preferred.
  • Computer literacy skills required.
  • Flexibility of working hours (7‐day shift work including weekends and public holidays may apply).
  • A full and current AU driver's licence with the ability to drive automatic vehicles.

Work Conditions

  • Job type: Casual.
  • Salary: $42,760.00 – $82,008.40 per year.
  • Schedule: Afternoon shift, Evening shift, Morning shift.
  • Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay, Penalty rates, Performance bonus.
  • Work location: In person.
