Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering and design function supporting major projects across the mining, industrial, renewables and emerging oil & gas sectors.
This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing technical delivery, team performance, and client outcomes, while driving continuous improvement across engineering processes and standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Electrical Engineering and Design teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes
* Oversee technical delivery, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and client requirements
* Manage team resourcing, workload planning and performance
* Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to engineers and designers
* Review and approve engineering deliverables, ensuring accuracy and quality
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting ongoing and future work
* Drive process improvement, productivity and efficient project execution
* Ensure projects are delivered in line with scope, schedule and budget
* Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and technical decision-making
* Support business growth through identifying opportunities and contributing to strategy
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
* 15+ years' experience within the mining or heavy industrial sector
* Strong background in electrical design, including substations, power systems and grounding
* Experience across control systems, PLC/SCADA and industrial networks
* Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams
* Strong understanding of Australian Standards and compliance requirements
* Proven ability to manage projects, solve complex problems and drive outcomes
* Commercial awareness with the ability to support client engagement and growth initiatives
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
