About the Role
The APS Level 6 Senior Geospatial Systems Administrator will take on a key role in supporting and enhancing the agency's enterprise GIS environment. They will administer ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro, maintain high-quality spatial data and services, and develop practical, efficient GIS workflows that strengthen business processes across the organisation. They will work collaboratively with stakeholders, provide informed technical guidance, and help ensure strong geospatial data governance.
The role also involves managing user-reported issues, contributing to system improvements, and supporting routine change activities such as upgrades and incident response. In addition, the successful candidate will prepare clear technical documentation, build productive working relationships, and provide specialised support to the Digital Services Branch to ensure the smooth and effective operation of enterprise GIS capabilities.
