An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and highly efficient Team Leader to join the Government and Defence Team at Lavarack Barracks. The Team Leader will be required to provide support with stocktaking, inventory management, invoicing, receipting, customer service and reporting as well as performing general store duties such as high reach and counter balance forklift operation, RF scanning and pick / pack duties. You will be responsible for managing and motivating your team of storepeople to deliver operational excellence from all areas of warehouse and distribution including safety, receiving, reporting, inventory management and quality control. Key areas: Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times. Providing exceptional leadership and direction to staff to ensure KPI’s are met and exceeded Managing staff issues including absenteeism and performance levels Assist with quality requirements by accurately inspecting and recording all inbound freight movements into the DC Controlling staff rosters and workload to meet and exceed customer requirements. Liaising with transport providers and the greater warehouse team to ensure an accurate and efficient inbound process Are you the one?
