Investment Banking Specialist
We are seeking a talented investment banking professional to join our team in Melbourne, focusing on delivering high-quality services for a wide range of industries.
* The successful candidate will play a critical role in executing strategic advisory transactions, capital raising activities, and financial advisory services across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support senior bankers in originating, structuring, and executing M&A deals, equity and debt offerings, and other financial advisory services in Australia.
* Conduct industry research, financial analysis, and valuation assessments to assist in client pitches and transaction processes.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, pitch books, and presentation materials for client meetings and transactions.
* Coordinate due diligence processes, manage data rooms, and liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless deal execution.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and industry contacts to identify new business opportunities and expand the firm's presence in the region.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
* Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking or finance related roles, ideally with prior exposure to M&A, capital markets, or corporate finance transactions.
* Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and proactiveness.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
