Senior Speech Pathologist Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Speech Pathologist to join the Binji and Boori Service, delivering high-quality assessment and intervention to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children aged 0–5 years across the Shoalhaven. The service works with families from conception through to 5 years of age, offering early intervention to promote optimal child development and wellbeing.

The successful applicant will provide culturally safe, evidence-based care to young children with complex communication needs, working in close partnership with families, carers, and community supports. The service uses a holistic, family-centred approach and includes a range of service delivery methods. This position is also integrated into the Child and Family Speech Pathology team and has access to clinical supervision and support from experienced Speech Pathologists.

This role offers a unique chance to work with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, empowering children and supporting the development of their communication and confidence. The position forms part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team (MDT), providing opportunities for collaboration and professional growth.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive postgraduate experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations, as well as a strong commitment to delivering culturally sensitive care. They will also have a valid NSW Drivers Licence and applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.
