The ideal candidate will have the ability to design, implement, and test software solutions for logistics-related tasks.
The successful applicant will also be able to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
A key responsibility of the role will be to integrate various software systems and hardware devices to create a cohesive and efficient logistics platform.
In addition, the successful candidate will be required to design and optimize database schemas and queries for efficient data storage and retrieval.
The ideal candidate will also conduct unit and integration tests, and debug software issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
A strong understanding of software development best practices is also required.
A degree in Software Engineering or similar, and 2+ years of professional software development experience, is also required.
Strong proficiency in a programming language (e.g. C#) and experience with database systems (SQL) is also required.
Experience with version control systems (e.g. Mercurial, SVN) is desirable.
