About the Role
As a Senior Cancer Education Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting nursing staff within the clinical program. Your primary objective will be to identify and address the developmental needs of nurses and contribute to the ongoing development of cancer services at Alfred Health.
This position involves working closely with clinical nurses to achieve optimal outcomes in patient care delivery. You will assist in establishing, implementing, and evaluating plans that enhance nurse capabilities to respond to the complex needs of patients.
You will be responsible for fostering an environment of continuous learning and inquiry within the Nursing Education Department. This includes providing educational activities that support enrolled, undergraduate, registered, and postgraduate nurses to deliver exceptional nursing care and service.

Requirements
* Currently registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
* Holding or working towards Master of Nursing or Education
* Previous experience in an education or education support role
* Demonstrated extensive relevant clinical knowledge/experience in acute/sub-acute care nursing (relevant to the program) and in a clinical leadership role
