**The Opportunity:**As a People Manager, you will oversee HR operations in Alice Springs, ensuring compliance with local labour laws while fostering a positive and engaging work environment.
You will drive the development and implementation of HR programs and policies that support business objectives and enhance employee satisfaction.
You will champion a workplace culture that reflects KBR's values of integrity, safety, teamwork, and excellence.
Approaching challenges proactively, you continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and deliver better outcomes across the organisation.
**Key Responsibilities:**The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to:* Develop, implement, and administer human resources programs, policies, processes, and procedures that attract, retain, and reward employees globally, in alignment with overall business strategy* Manage the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members* Participate in the development of functional strategy and oversee global processes and procedures as required* Develop, revise, and enforce company policies and procedures* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations* Maintain confidential employee records and ensure data accuracy.
