Salary is at AU$84,928 per annum (paid out monthly), plus 12% superannuation.

* In addition to the duties with this job normally entails, you may from time to time be required to undertake additional or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the High Commission, including playing a part in the corporate life of the mission and supporting any crisis response.

Working patterns:
The British High Commission supports and promotes flexible working times but due to working with teams in the UK, there may be occasions for some calls to be outside of core hours. Although flexibility arrangements and remote working can be catered for subject to line management agreement, due to the nature of the work main duties are office based.
Normal working hours for full time employment are 38 hours p/w Monday to Friday
The overall package also includes the standard 14 days of public holidays that the UK in Australia Network all works to as well as 22 days annual leave.
The FCDO also operates an agile workforce. To facilitate this, you may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as we may reasonably require.
