About the role
Provide hands-on technical expertise, customer training, system design, and field support within installer networks. Collaborate with engineering, sales, and product teams to ensure seamless system integration and deliver an exceptional customer experience across Queensland and the broader ANZ region.
Key Responsibilities
- Support product adoption and customer success by working closely with the Sales Team.
- Translate customer technical requirements to Product Management and Development teams for continuous improvement.
- Lead technical product adoption initiatives with customers and internal teams.
- Manage New Product Introduction activities, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design guides, diagrams, BOMs, and training materials.
- Provide specialized support for complex system designs.
- Conduct field testing and gather feedback on new hardware and software.
- Collaborate with Customer Support and Field Services to resolve issues swiftly and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Share knowledge and best practices within technical and sales teams to foster collaboration.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering; P.E. license is a plus.
- Experience with distributed solar, energy storage, and energy management.
- At least 3 years in designing and engineering residential solar and energy storage systems.
- Knowledge of PV and energy storage performance and economic modeling.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems and data networks.
- Familiar with AS/NZS Standards and regulatory codes for PV and energy storage.
- Experience with DNSP/Grid approval processes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, PVSyst, and related software.
- Practical knowledge of inverters, converters, AC/DC systems, and grid interconnection.
- Willing to travel locally and occasionally internationally.
- Ability to work independently in remote settings while maintaining collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships across teams.
