MIA is looking for an experienced bridal stylist and sales-focused studio support to join our Fitzroy showroom.
We are looking for someone reliable, polished, hard-working and confident with clients. This role is best suited to someone with experience in bridal, luxury retail, designer fashion, jewellery, personal styling or another premium client-facing environment.
This is not an entry-level role. We need someone who can work autonomously, take ownership, follow through, and bring a strong can-do attitude to a growing designer-led studio.
About the role
You will work closely with Mia, the founder and designer, to support bridal appointments, guide clients through gown options, follow up with leads, and help improve our sales and client journey system.
Key responsibilities
* Host and support bridal try-on appointments
* Guide brides through gown options, fit, styling and design details
* Build trust with clients and support confident decision-making
* Follow up with leads after appointments
* Help improve sales follow-up, client notes and showroom workflow
* Support measurements, fittings and pick-ups where required
* Maintain showroom presentation, gown care, steaming and appointment readiness
* Work independently and take ownership of daily studio tasks
Desired qualities
* Experienced in bridal, luxury retail, designer fashion, jewellery or premium sales
* Confident in one-on-one client appointments
* Warm, polished and emotionally intelligent
* Sales-minded, without being pushy
* Responsible, organised and highly reliable
* Hard-working with strong work ethic
* Proactive, flexible and willing to help where needed
* Able to work autonomously without needing to be chased
* Comfortable working closely with a founder/designer
* Available on Saturdays
Ideal experience
Bridal or luxury retail experience is highly preferred. Experience with KPIs, clienteling, fittings, alterations, made-to-order, made-to-measure or premium garment handling would be highly valued.
