Child Safety Policy Officer Role

About the Position:
The Engagement and Wellbeing Directorate provides statewide policy direction, reform, and advice on engagement and wellbeing strategies for children and young people in education and care. As a Child Safety Policy Officer, you will provide leadership, expertise, and policy advice based on evidence, best practice, and legislation relating to safeguarding children.
You will have comprehensive knowledge of system factors impacting child safety, including relevant policies and procedures within the department. Your role requires effective early intervention strategies
and practices as well as programs for vulnerable groups such as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander communities.
