Social Infrastructure & Citizen Services delivers the critical thinking, building, maintenance and sustainment behind Australia and New Zealand's essential public assets, facilities and community services. The communities we serve are at the heart of our operations. We run places of healthcare and education, custodial facilities, we manage customer data centres and critical systems, we take asset management risk over 25 years through our portfolio of Public Private Partnership (PPP) contracts, and we are a trusted advisor and partner to our New Zealand and Australian Defence Forces.

The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) is Western Australia's premier event destination which is home to some of Perth's most exclusive gala dinners and events, large scale conferences to small boardroom meetings, corporate events, exciting exhibitions, weddings and theatre performances.

What you'll do
We are looking for very passionate, creative Sous Chef. This exciting opportunity will see the correct candidate work amongst a passionate culinary team where a large focus will be on development and further progression. The Sous Chef will coordinate, with the Executive Sous Chef, manage the rosters of the direct staff reports within the kitchen and supervise all staff activity within the kitchen. A great attitude is required along with a creative flair.
What you'll bring
* Qualified career orientated Chef with a proven knowledge of kitchen operations.
* Experienced cooking in a commercial kitchen preferably with staff supervision.
* Proven experience working with budgets and profit / loss reports
* Confidence and leadership that is inspiring in teams Experience and the ability to run large functions / events.
* The ability to organise and balance multiple demands.
* More than anything, you'll have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a drive to provide high quality outcomes for the Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit and our clients.
