About the role
We are seeking an Organisational Development Lead to join our People & Culture team based in our corporate office in Fortitude Valley. As the Organisational Development Lead, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of a range of strategic initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, performance and collaboration, and to deliver high‐impact leadership and management development opportunities and programs.
Responsibilities
* Partner with Workforce Planning & Design to ensure development programs address business needs
* Provide coaching to leaders on effective utilisation of development tools such as job assignments, job rotations, assessments, development programs, training, coaching and mentoring
* Develop and implement talent lifecycle processes through agile succession planning supported by future‐proof role profiles
* Recommend and develop strategies to mitigate talent gaps through proactive measures, including retention risk heat maps and critical role definitions
* Review and leverage technologies to ensure a positive employee experience and proactively solve talent requests
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including leaders, technical specialists, and P&C partners, to implement selected talent, capability, and leadership programs
* Critically review the learning catalogue to analyse performance and budget, driving improvements and informing learning strategies
* Implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, collaborating with cross‐functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts
* Develop and implement new performance review and development frameworks, processes, and practices
* Implement and monitor the success of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
* Collaborate with Workforce Insights to identify critical KPIs and benchmarks for the organisation to monitor and track
* Take ownership of continuously improving talent processes in line with the vision and strategy, monitoring KPIs and suggesting mitigation actions
Requirements
* Proven experience in the design, development and deployment of full spectrum organisational development and talent interventions for a multi‐dimensional workforce – minimum five (5) years' experience
* Ability to apply analysis and research to develop policies and strategies to achieve long‐term goals within a broad organisational‐wide framework: to uplift organisational performance and capability
* Domain expertise with strong consultancy skills
* Ability to influence, engage and communicate effectively with key stakeholders
* Strong capability in providing advice, coaching, feedback, and support to business leaders.
