eHealth Queensland's - Cyber Security Program is seeking two experienced security focussed Principal Project Managers.
The Cyber Security Program is responsible for delivering information security solutions to support modern healthcare delivery. The program addresses the evolving healthcare landscape and the ever‑changing cyber security threat environment to drive the security uplift and posture for the organisation.
About the role
Reporting to the Project Director, the Principal Project Manager positions will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and management of one or more cyber security initiatives, specifically around either the Multi‑factor Authentication (MFA) in line with Queensland Healths project management methodologies within the agreed timeframes, budget, and quality standards. You will be expected to ensure performance against project plans and budgets is met. Additionally, you will enable informed decision making on project issues by developing timely and relevant written submissions, briefs, presentations, and information papers for project stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
* Ensure projects are managed in accordance with the best practice guidelines and Queensland Healths formal project management (PM) approach to ensure consistent and quality outcomes are achieved.

* Provide advice and strategic input to project deliverables, to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with Queensland Health strategies and architecture.
* Guide, lead and mentor team members and ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project life cycle.
* Manage projects by monitoring and reporting on project related trends and performance against project plans and budgets.
* Enable informed decision making on project issues by developing timely and relevant written submissions, briefs, presentations and information papers for project stakeholders.
How you will be assessed
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key requirements, knowledge and experience within the context of the key responsibilities described above under About the Role, the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
* Proven experience in the management of a large scale, complex cyber security projects, preferably in the implementation of Endpoint Protection Platform solutions and demonstrated broad understanding of the cybersecurity domains to develop business cases. (SFIA Skill: PRMG: Level 6).
* Experience in stakeholder relationship management to support effective business change, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders (SFIA Skill: RLMT: Level 6)
* Understanding and application of appropriate project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2), and an ability to promote and provide advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools (SFIA Skill: METL: Level 5)
* Proven high level negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex project environment (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
* Proven experience in leading, managing and mentoring an effective multi‑disciplinary team (NHS: Leading change through people)
* Proven analytical, conceptual and problem‑solving skills and a proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members (NHS: Collaborative working).
Highly regarded experience
* Demonstrated experience in the implementation, integration, and migration of Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions, including RSA SecurID and Microsoft Entra ID, within large, federated organisations.
* Strong domain knowledge across identity and access management technologies, including MFA platforms and directory services.
* Proven experience delivering cyber security initiatives focused on strengthening identity security, establishing security foundations, and meeting mandatory compliance and maturity requirements, such as the Information and Cyber Security policy (IS18).
* An understanding of the operational environment within hospital and healthcare settings, and how identity and access controls support safe and secure service delivery, is desirable.
