With our continued growth and expansion into international sourcing and supply chains, we are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead both domestic and overseas procurement operations. About the Role This is a strategic role responsible for managing procurement across local and international markets, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of high-quality construction materials, fixtures, and finishes. You will play a critical role in establishing and managing overseas supplier networks, particularly in key manufacturing regions, to support the company’s expansion and maintain a competitive edge. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies across local and international supply chains Identify, evaluate, and onboard overseas suppliers and manufacturers to support business expansion Lead international sourcing activities including supplier negotiations, pricing, and contract terms Manage import processes including logistics, shipping, customs clearance, and compliance requirements Build and maintain strong relationships with both domestic and international suppliers Monitor global market trends, currency fluctuations, and supply chain risks Collaborate with project teams to ensure procurement aligns with construction timelines Drive cost efficiencies through bulk purchasing, supplier consolidation, and global sourcing strategies Ensure all procurement activities comply with Australian standards and building regulations Maintain accurate procurement documentation, reporting, and forecasting About You Proven experience in a Purchasing / Procurement Manager role within construction, property development, or related industries Demonstrated experience in overseas sourcing and international supply chain management Strong understanding of import/export processes, logistics, and supplier negotiation Experience working with suppliers in regions such as Asia (e.g. China, Southeast Asia) is highly regarded Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver cost savings without compromising quality Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment Bilingual skills (e.g. English and Mandarin) highly regarded but not essential What We Offer Opportunity to play a key role in shaping the company’s global procurement strategy Work on high-quality residential and development projects Competitive salary package based on experience Long-term career growth within a rapidly expanding business Supportive and collaborative team environment
