Noosa Council is looking for an experienced and reliable Civil Field Worker - Road Maintenance Unit. In this hands-on outdoor role, you'll work as part of a supportive team delivering road construction, asphalt repairs, and maintenance services that keep our community safe, connected, and proud of where they live.
You'll carry out a range of operational tasks from preparing, placing, and compacting asphalt and bituminous products to operating road patching equipment such as a Flocon truck and other civil plant and machinery. You'll also play a key role in maintaining Council assets, completing required documentation, and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
We're looking for someone with:
* Experience in asphalt and bitumen repairs and operating specialised patching or civil construction equipment
* Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to follow direction and get the job done safely and efficiently
* Sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety practices
* MR driver's licence and a Construction Industry White Card (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
