About This Role
We are seeking an experienced agricultural professional to join our team as an Agricultural Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the effective management of agricultural systems and resources.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and maintaining all agricultural field sites, ensuring optimal crop growth and animal health;
* Operating and maintaining various agricultural machinery, equipment, and materials;
* Planting, watering, and caring for crops and market gardens;
* Assisting the Agriculture Teacher with practical classes and activities;
To be successful in this role, you should possess a foundational understanding of agricultural practices and demonstrate basic skills relevant to the field. You should also be confident working independently, with strong time management skills to meet daily tasks and responsibilities without close supervision.
