The Role
We are seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Quarry Operators and Qualified Fitters to join our quarry operations. Quarry Operators will be hands-on across crushing and screening operations, while Fitters will play a critical role in maintaining and improving plant reliability, safety, and performance.
Key Responsibilities – Quarry Operators
* Operate crushing and screening plant safely and efficiently.
* Conduct pre-start inspections and basic maintenance.
* Monitor product quality and production output.
* Work closely with supervisors, fitters, and site teams.
* Maintain housekeeping and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities – Fitters
* Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs on fixed and mobile plant.
* Perform breakdown, preventative, and scheduled maintenance.
* Support crushing and screening operations to minimise downtime.
* Identify improvement opportunities to enhance reliability and safety.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records.
About You
* Operators: Crushing and screening experience essential; mobile plant tickets highly regarded.
* Fitters: Trade-qualified with experience in quarry or heavy plant maintenance.
* Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
* Reliable, team-oriented and takes pride in quality workmanship.
