Insurance Broker - Account Manager
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial and SME insurance accounts, delivering exceptional client service, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of commercial and SME insurance accounts, including renewals, policy amendments, and claims management
* Proactively engage with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions
* Negotiate with insurers to secure the most competitive premiums and coverage for clients
* Prepare and present insurance proposals and policy documentation
* Maintain detailed client records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
* Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with clients
* Collaborate with the wider team to share best practices and drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience as an Insurance Broker or Account Manager in the industry
* Proven track record of successfully managing a portfolio of commercial and SME insurance clients
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate insurance concepts to clients
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
* Thorough understanding of insurance products, policies, and regulatory requirements
* Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
* Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term client relationships
* Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g. Diploma of Insurance Broking) are highly desirable
