About the Role
The role involves a combination of field services and workshop activities, supporting maintenance, inspections, shutdowns, and repairs on turbine and rotating equipment systems.
We are looking for someone with strong hands‑on mechanical experience, a safety-focused mindset, and a positive attitude – attitude is key.
Key Responsibilities
* Mechanical maintenance and overhaul of:
* Strip, inspect, assemble, and repair components
* Tooling preparation and equipment servicing
* Support for outage and project readiness
* Field service support during shutdowns and site works
* Assist with alignment, inspections, and mechanical installations
* Work in accordance with OEM procedures and safety standards
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping, quality, and safety
* Trade-qualified Mechanical Technician / Fitter
* Experience working on gas turbines and/or steam turbines
* GE Frame turbine experience is highly valued
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
* Experience working in industrial environments (energy, power, oil & gas)
* Strong safety awareness and team-focused approach
* Dual trade – Welding qualification (highly regarded)
* Experience in shutdowns and outages
* Offshore or site-based experience
