About the Role
Are you an organised, motivated professional looking to grow your career in the legal field? Immigration Gurus is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team in Cairns. You'll play a key role in assisting our registered migration agents across various tasks that make a real difference in people's lives.
No prior experience in immigration law is required — we'll provide full training and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
Communicating with clients and government departments
Assisting with case management and administrative tasks
Preparing applications and documentation for lodgement
Maintaining client records using CRM software
Tracking deadlines and managing file organisation
Supporting our team with general office duties
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced as a Legal Assistant or in a similar administrative role (preferred, but not essential)
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Excellent at time management and multitasking
Confident in communicating with clients and colleagues
Tech-savvy, with strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
A proactive team player with a positive attitude
