Design Director for Print Solutions
You have the unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on our products as a Design Director for Print Solutions. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our homeware designs by identifying, interpreting, and implementing global print and pattern trends.
As a key member of our design team, you will collaborate closely with Living Home designers and merchandise teams to drive sales through visually appealing and customer-focused products. Your expertise will be instrumental in growing our business by developing prints that are both aesthetically pleasing and commercially successful.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
• Trend Identification: Stay ahead of global print and pattern trends to ensure our products remain cutting-edge.
• Collaborative Design: Work harmoniously with Living Home designers and merchandise teams to create coordinated prints, graphics, and final art that reflect our brand's unique style.
• Commercial Focus: Develop prints that not only meet customer needs but also drive incremental sales.
• Print Library Management: Effectively manage and organize our print library and assets to ensure seamless access and utilization.
• Effective Communication: Articulate design concepts through visual and verbal communication, ensuring clarity and alignment with company goals.
• Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn and grow across various areas within Living Home.
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
• 5+ years' experience as a Print Designer in homeware, including textile yardages and ability to translate designs into product 3D drawings.
• Creative Talent: A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create elevated, commercial, on-trend prints and graphics for diverse age groups and aesthetics.
• Trend Awareness: A keen eye for global trends and the ability to translate them into marketable products.
• Collaborative Spirit: Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work harmoniously with fellow designers and merchandise teams.
• Organizational Skills: Proficiency in cataloguing and managing print assets.
• Communication Skills: Strong visual and verbal communication abilities to effectively convey design concepts.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and grow across various areas of Living Home.
