About the role
This position provides specialised public health nursing expertise and support in relation to Tuberculosis/Leprosy in the Central Australian region. The objective of this role is to ensure best practice prevention and management activities are applied to the Tuberculosis/Leprosy program in the Central Australian Region through clinical education, capacity building and management of client services including case detection, management and associated screening. Occasional travel may be involved which may include by light aircraft or 4WD. It is highly desirable that the successful applicant for this role has completed an accredited vaccination course of study and is experienced and knowledgeable of the National Immunisation Program or similar
