With your skills and experience, you can contribute to the millions of ways we're enriching health, and develop your career as part of the largest health organisation in Australia.
Achieve Something Great
Step into a role where your advanced clinical expertise directly shapes healthier futures for children and families facing complex challenges. As the Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 in Child & Family Health, you will lead specialist nursing care, health screening, developmental assessments, and advisory services for families experiencing vulnerabilities such as substance use or disability, with children aged 0–5. You will play a pivotal role in the BANYAN Equity Model, a continuity of care initiative aimed at reducing inequities and improving long-term health and developmental outcomes for priority populations. Your leadership will strengthen clinical practice, drive quality improvement, and contribute to SWSLHD's Transforming Your Experience strategy, ensuring care that is safe, high quality, and personalised.
Are You the Right Fit?
This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who thrives in complex environments and is committed to strengths-based, family-centred care. You bring advanced assessment skills, sound clinical judgment, and the confidence to mentor and guide other health professionals. You are comfortable working in community settings, navigating diverse professional relationships, and supporting families who may experience trauma, domestic violence, or child protection concerns. If you are passionate about equity, capable of leading practice development, and motivated to empower families and colleagues alike, you will excel as a CNS2 within this innovative model of care.
