Your responsibilities include supervising the network, sourcing service providers (both internal and external) to meet the evolving needs of our customer base, and identifying efficiencies within the network to enhance cost savings for the business.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Specifically, you will:Source and allocate daily ad-hoc linehaul tasks to the appropriate service providersCollaborate with the Linehaul Manager to develop and maintain a strategic GT linehaul networkEnsure all operations adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements, prioritising HS&E standardsWork with the Linehaul Manager to track and implement business improvementsMonitor and manage transport costs through initiatives aimed at increasing revenue or reducing expensesUtilise KPIs to assess network performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basisCoordinate with CEVA operational sites to ensure timely availability of freight to carriers according to service specificationsBuild and maintain productive relationships with both internal and external customers.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Our ideal candidate has proven experience supervising linehaul operations, and:Familiarity with state metropolitan, rural areas, and major road routes within AustraliaA strong ability to implement and understand cost control measures for efficient and cost-effective transport operationsApplied understanding of Australian road transport regulations including CoR and BFMExcellent communication skills, and the ability to manage stakeholders and plan effectively.In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?In addition to a challenging and rewarding work environment and competitive compensation, we are proud to offer a range of employee benefits designed to support your wellbeing, and help you thrive at work and in life.Personal wellbeing: prioritise your health and wellbeing through the CEVAwell program, Employee Assistance Program, Volunteer Time Off, and Life & Total Permanent Disability Insurance.Work-life balance: benefit from flexible, hybrid, and remote work options, along with additional paid parental leave for primary carers.Professional development: your growth is essential to us.
