About the Role
HR Administration
* Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Workday or equivalent).
* Prepare employment contracts, variation letters, and other HR documentation.
* Support payroll by preparing timesheet and leave data, ensuring accuracy.
* Coordinate employee movements including new starters, transfers, and terminations.
Recruitment & Onboarding
* Provide administrative support for recruitment campaigns, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters.
* Coordinate pre‑employment medicals, police checks, and reference checks.
* Support onboarding to ensure new employees are set up for success through induction programmes and compliance training.
* Prepare onboarding packs and ensure completion of induction documentation.
* Support managers with probation reminders and related documentation.
Employee Relations & Compliance
* Provide first‑level advice to employees on policies, procedures, and entitlements.
* Assist HR investigations by preparing documentation and scheduling interviews.
* Support compliance reporting requirements, including Fair Work, and internal audits.
* Always ensure confidentiality and integrity of employee data.
General Support
* Draft HR correspondence, letters, and internal communications.
* Prepare HR reports and metrics such as headcount, turnover, and training compliance.
* Contribute to HR projects, events, and initiatives across the organisation.
* Draft policy updates and intranet content.
* Provide general administrative support to HR team members as required.

Education & Technical Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources.
* Previous HR administration or office administration experience.
* Exposure to HR systems such as Workday, Chris21, or Rapid (preferred).
* Understanding of the Fair Work Act and award/enterprise agreement compliance.
