Senior Electrical Engineer - Solar & BESS
We're searching for a technically skilled Electrical Engineer to lead early-stage project design and support delivery through to commissioning. This is a hands-on role driving feasibility, design, grid connection, and EPC engagement across NEM-connected and off-grid assets.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead feasibility studies, layouts, yield analysis (pvDesign), and site screening.
Support grid connection strategy and liaise with consultants on GPS & R1–R3 compliance.
Input into EPC tendering, equipment specs, and technical scope.
Work closely with an international EPC team and support delivery for smaller projects.
What You'll Bring
3+ years' experience on utility-scale solar + BESS in Australia.
Strong design, compliance, and EPC interface knowledge.
Familiarity with AEMO, NER, GPS processes.
Proficiency in tools like pvDesign (RatedPower). Highly regarded.
Role Details
~70% office-based / 30% site-based. Focus on early development now, with delivery work ramping up over months. Reporting to offshore EPC team. Minimal external stakeholder interaction (~10%).
