The Senior Health Navigator role offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to support the recruitment of additional Multicultural Health Navigators. The successful candidate will play a key part in providing guidance and support as the team expands.
About the Role:
* Support the setup and rollout of the MHNS pilot in Hedland, working closely with stakeholders to ensure its success.
* Assist with recruiting and building the future Health Navigator team, identifying and developing talent.
* Engage with community members, health providers, and local organisations to promote the initiative.
* Provide one-on-one support to clients to help them navigate the complex health system.
* Coordinate referrals, appointments, interpreter use, and practical system navigation to ensure seamless care delivery.
* Participate in community co-design and engagement activities to foster partnerships and drive outcomes.
* Maintain accurate records and client data for reporting requirements, ensuring transparency and accountability.
* Pursue ongoing training in cultural competency and client-centred care to enhance skills and knowledge.
