Personal Care Worker – Aged Care
In our community team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients. As a Personal Care Worker, your role will involve assisting with everyday activities and providing support to enable our clients to live their best possible life.
About You:
* We are looking for individuals who possess a Certificate III in Personal Care/Aged Care/Community/Individual Support or Disability Services.
* A Senior First Aid Certificate and an Unrestricted Driver's Licence are also essential requirements.
* You should have a current Police Clearance (if you don't have one, we can provide it at no cost).
* An empathetic, patient, and caring nature, along with exceptional communication skills, is crucial for this role.
* Building respectful relationships and being able to work independently are also key aspects of this position.
About the Role:
* As a Personal Care Worker, your responsibilities will include assisting clients with personal care tasks such as showering and dressing.
* You will also be responsible for household cleaning and laundry, meal preparation, transport to and from appointments/shops, social support, and respite care for family members.
* Additionally, you may be required to assist with complex care needs.
