Position Overview

Lake Imaging is the leading radiology provider within central and western Victoria, employing over 25 radiologists across regional and metropolitan centres. This scholarship offers Monash University students the opportunity to work in a private hospital and selected private clinics, gaining exposure to a comprehensive range of imaging services.

Position Details

This scholarship is for Monash University fourth‐year students placed in one of the following locations: Ballarat, Geelong, Warrnambool, or Western Melbourne. The selected student will work in a variable time schedule and will receive a scholarship award of $20,000.

Responsibilities

As a scholarship holder you will:

• Participate fully in all aspects of work with private hospital and clinic teams.
• Gain experience in the following modalities: Digital Radiography (DR), Computed Radiography (CR), Fluoroscopy, CT (including interventional and CT coronary angiography), 3T and 1.5T MRI, Theatre Image Intensifier, Mobile Radiography, PET‐CT, Digital Mammography/Tomosynthesis, Coronary Cath Lab/Angiography suite, Ultrasound, Bone Densitometry, and Dental Imaging.
• Work alongside highly qualified staff to provide high‐quality imaging services.
